Supergrass – Richard III (1997)

‘Richard III’ was the second single off Supergrass’s second album, In It for the Money. In the video, Gaz Coombes plays a red Gibson SG guitar – this was a band at the height of its confidence and powers. Charming, instinctive and hard to pin for its musical influences, the band was cutting their coat according to their own unique cloth. Simply refreshing – I miss them.
