Tweedy – Summer Noon (2014)



Last year, Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy and son Spencer released their debut album Sukierae as a side project aptly named Tweedy. ‘Summer Noon’ was one of the first singles off the album and sounds a lot like something that Jeff might have written for Wilco’s real breakthrough album Summerteeth, some 15 years ago or so – some acoustic guitar, the light accompaniment, the familiar voice and his son on percussion. If you listen to the album, it’s no case of blind nepotism.
