Grimes – Oblivion (2012)


Grimes again

Also in 2012, Montreal-based Claire Boucher was making waves with her Visions. Recording under the name of Grimes, her song ‘Oblivion’ was the third track on the album. This was progressive, synthesised sound and the critics loved it. The release was accompanied by a video of a rose-coloured Boucher at a McGill University football game.
