Muse – Bliss (2001)

To show that they were more than just a Queen cover band, Muse decided to go bombastic with their 2001 long player Origin Of Symmetry. Take the space rock track ‘Bliss’: guitars crescendos, drums at 130 bpm, noodly synthesiser and all bookended by arpeggios… Rick Wakeman loved it. No shortage of confidence in their breakout moment.

What a great song and video. Was a nice way to wake myself up properly this morning with a caramel soya latte. 🙂
