Brazos

‘How The Ranks Was Won’ is the first single from the Brazos forthcoming album, Saltwater. Frontman Martin McNulty Crane V has revealed that the album has been part inspired by Melville’s Moby Dick. ‘How The Ranks’ is a tale about a kid who finds the empty (ghost) ship on which his ancestors had voyaged. The vocals are dreamlike and cascading. It’s indie heaven; a bit like Cass McCombs doing the vocals for My Morning Jacket.
