Off their 2006 long player Those The Brokes, ‘This Is A Song’ kicks off as the brothers and sisters’ opening track. The Magic Numbers can do sunshine pop is spades; the type of outlook on music that only a west London suburban upbringing can deliver – sugar-sweet harmonies, chiming guitars and looping glockenspiels, no less. Yes, that’s right… west London – Greenford, Ealing, to be more precise.
