Bee Gees – To Love Somebody (1967)

YouTubeAmazoniTunes – Discogs

I’ve left it to midweek this time, to save the weekends’ cheer… but another one bites the dust. Robin Gibb is no more. But Wednesday is no time for disco. I feature a tune that reminds me of childhood journeys in my parents’ car. ‘To Love Somebody’ was the second single released by the Bee Gees from their third album, Bee Gees 1st. This soul ballad was originally conceived for Otis Redding, who died in an aeroplane crash later that year (1967), before getting the chance. An absolute classic.
