Well, we all know the answer now, but in 2004 it was a valid and amusing question. This was the sound of California via Dublin. Or should that be Dublin via California? The Thrills had been able to attract a contract early in their existence and Virgin Records were only too happy to mimic the formula of the band’s successful debut and send the Irishmen to La La Land in 2004. There they recorded their second long player ‘Let’s Bottle Bohemia’ and evidently soaked up the local musical and showbiz influences.
