The High Priestess of Soul covers the Queen of Soul. As much as I love Aretha, Nina’s version is funkier than a mosquito’s tweeter. And this was 1969! Check out the crescendo moment at around the 2m53s mark – wonderful stuff. “I’m in so much trouble, I don’t know what to do…”.
